Here in Ontario, Canada, we see STOP signs in back yards. I doubt they will worry traffic, except for the occasional speeding lawnmower. And as we all know, deer can’t read, so they won’t. Stop, that is.
There’s a bad joke to be made about why we put ‘Deer Crossing’ signs in high traffic areas when it would clearly be far simpler to get deer to cross elsewhere… but I’m not going to make it. Don’t let that stop you, though. Also, I know no deer that have received tickets for jaywalking. Still…
