Up before the sun, I decided to go out and enjoy the dawn. Cloud cover put paid to ideas of seeing an epic sunrise. But as always, patience pays off. While continuing my explorations I saw this scene unfolding and stopped. As I waited the clouds opened momentarily and sunlight poured through. Searchlight beams shone across the land, just as those geese flew by underneath. This was a captivating moment.
Moments like this are why I drag myself around Niagara.
