Gulls flock around the old scow, upriver of Niagara Falls

Old Scow

This image of the old scow, upriver of Niagara Falls, was taken early one cold February morning.

The gulls make easy pickings of fish from the Niagara river, as they are dashed against this hulk and the rocks as the tumultuous water speeds toward Niagara Falls, a scant few hundred feet away.
