Our Image Of The Week was taken late afternoon as the sun set behind a farm in Wainfleet, Ontario.
It speaks of the long hours and harsh working conditions for farmers. They don’t take vacations. Nor have weekends off. 9-5 is a myth. Their work can begin before sunrise and end in the early hours.
I’d like to thank farmers around the world for their hard work and send a special greeting during this holiday season. But particularly the Canadian ones, since they supply most of what our house eats.
We would like to wish everyone, everywhere, a very happy holiday season and for those that celebrate, a Merry Christmas! After all, that is a star shining above a stable. What could be more Christmas than that?
