This image was shot at the Sugarloaf Marina in Port Colborne just before sunset on a cold winter’s day in December 2022. I watched the clouds rolling in from the warmth of my car and took many shots of this scene as it unfolded. The sun backlit those clouds beautifully.
Like all such moments it was all too brief. The clouds quickly covered the sun, turning the world a uniform blue-grey as the world descended into darkness and evening began. But not until I had captured this and many other inspirational moments. Oh, each day that I see such beauty makes me glad to be alive.
