Port Colborne Interactive 3D

I live in a small community on the North East shore of Lake Erie, called Port Colborne.

The main highway between Canada and the U.S. runs through the North side of town, all the way to the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie. But there are many other attractions than the road out of town.

We have a world-class marina. A thriving theatre of the arts. Miles of sandy beaches. A farmer’s market. We also have regular annual festivals, including Canal Days, a celebration of the fact that we sit at one of the water-filled transportation channels between Lakes Erie and Ontario. And other delights. There is, it’s fair to say, much to be said for our fine community. And I wanted to celebrate that.

So I made this. An interactive 3D Cube of words that represent some of the fun things to be found here.

Depending on your browser settings you may get a warning. If so you can right-click the link and open in a new window. You will see the interactive 3D cube in full glory, sitting on a base I made in Photoshop featuring my logo. And why not, say I? I made it, after all. 🙂

Navigating 3D Space

Mouse: Zoom in/out with your scroll wheel. Left-click drag to move. SHIFT left-click drag to pan.
Mobile: Use the usual gestures.

Spin around. Look inside, that’s rather trippy. Above all, enjoy. Life is too short to do anything less.
