Our Image Of The Week was taken at a local graveyard during sunrise, Summer of 2022. Morning mist lent an atmospheric glow to the sun’s rays picking their way hesitantly through the trees.
Not everybody likes graveyards. I fully understand why.
Where I don’t know the residents, I find graveyards peaceful. Pockets of manicured calm in a noisy world, where a person can take a breath to step aside from everyday worries to contemplate the universe and all the wondrous things it contains. Especially at sunrise.
