The Image Of The Week is from an early morning hike somewhere in niagara. Just after sunrise I came across this spider web in the grass near my feet. The web glistened with dewdrops, suspended precariously between the leaves. Even though they were shielded from direct sun by surrounding foliage, they evaporated slowly as I watched.
And the day began. The sounds of the waking world increased around me. Birds sang. Cars passed. Off in the distance a tractor started up. And, somewhere, the spider that made this web waited patiently for the dewdrops to disappear.
All things change. Never forget that. Always. Always enjoy moments like these when you can. Before they’re gone.
