Winter at the Sugarloaf marina sees empty boat slips, and the frozen lake is cracked into crazy paving.
The ice is almost a foot thick and yet clear enough to see through. Walking across it is as safe as such things can be. Those red shapes in the image are ice fishing huts. The area at the front is large enough to play host to scratch hockey games during the cold winter months. And it does.
