This image is from some time ago during Spring, on the outskirts of Port Colborne, Ontario. The ground had been dry until noon. When it came, rain quickly made puddles and rivulets everywhere, changing the landscape into a muddy mess as it continued to splash down. Insects ran for cover or climbed the nearest plants. Plants visibly swelled as they soaked up welcome watery goodness.
Within a a few short minutes the world was reborn. One puddle at a time. Nature is amazing.
