Sunrise over Gravelly Bay

Taken at the beach on Gravelly Bay, Port Colborne, Ontario. The view was serene. Simple. Beautiful. The muted colours of morning suited the mood as the sun flooded the land with soft morning light.

The ADM mill at left and lighthouse at right frame the scene, while the bare winter branches of the trees somehow hold the promise of Spring to come. A simple composition. But it makes me happy.

This is a wonderful way to begin the day.
