The shore of Lake Erie is nowhere more beautiful than facing South toward America from Nickel Beach in Port Colborne. When the sand is clean and the water calm the sense of peace that can be found here is remarkable. Only yards from the road, this is a popular spot with locals and tourists.
I prefer it when I have it all to myself, as I did here.
