If you follow me on social, you will know the Port Colborne Optimist Club held the annual kids fishing derby in H.H. Knoll park on Father’s Day. It takes time to process photos, particularly when faced with a dozen deadlines, so with apologies for the one-week wait, without further ado here is the photo gallery.
Click each image to view it larger. You can share those you like using the social media icons at top left. If you click the ‘view’ button at bottom centre you will open the gallery up on the photo site. FFrom there you can just browse, leave comments on the photographs using the icons over on the left, or buy a souvenir or keepsake. That’s up to you. A full range of produts are available using the BUY PHOTO buttons on each image on the main site. Or not. There is no obligation to buy anything, we just want you to enjoy these memories of a great day.
About The Day
This is our second year running the event after inheriting it from the Conservation Club. I’m pleased to annouce we had an even bigger turnout this year. Kids and families enjoyed a warm and overcast day, which thankfully kept the heat away. We had some extra treats this year thanks to an increase in both the number of spnsors AND the value of their donations.
I for one look forward to doing this again next year. As you can see from the photos, this was a very, very fun event.
