On an 18-hour road trip from Niagara to Thunder Bay, we stopped for an hour to check out the Pebble Beach at Marathon. No sand. Just rocks and driftwood. It was an amazing experience to visit this place, though also a great place to sprain an ankle.
This is one unforgiving son of a beach.
A small clamber for the adventurous (or young) from the parking lot. Well worth a stop.
