The Grand Hermine was a replica of a historically significant carrack (a portugese word for a certain type of ocean going ship) that stood alone against the wind and weather for decades in the bay at Jordan Harbour, Ontario. Visible from the QEW highway those masts were a ‘nearly home’ signpost for a generation of commuters. More information given in the audio track of the video. Please watch and enjoy this view of the now sadly departed Grand Hermine.
