This serene location features an overcast sky and the most amazing trees surrounding a fishing lake between two people.
I like the tension. On the surface it’s a simple landscape view of a calm but overcast day at a recreational fishing lake. Look closer. Two people, separated by an obstacle. Not insurmountable, but for them to reach each other will take work. One of them will need to take the first step. That imagined dynamic makes the piece, for me. There is a poetic metaphor for life in this image.
