Early one March morning, I was fortunate to be awake when the sun made a rare appearance in the leaden skies. The light rolling across the fields is subdued and soft, expanding by the moment, like a fog slowly creeping towards you. Fascinating shadow play.
I like this location because the symmetry of that single tree on the horizon between these two trees is enhanced by the location of the rising sun at this time of year, when it lives in the branches. I come back here often. But especially in March and September.
