Cost
There are three costs associated with any web site:
- Domain Registration: An annual fee to register and keep your domain name. Independent of who builds or hosts your site. Averages between $10 and $50 per year
- Build: The time it takes to make a site you want to call your own. Variable. How much is a car? Depends what car you want, right?
- Hosting: After the site is built there is an annual or monthly cost to keep those files making up the site on the Internet.
Monthly fees will include any resources needed to run your site. For example a 1-pager does not need a database, mail management, or e-commerce features. Pencil in between $5 and $50 per month.
We can provide any mix of the above. Never had a site before? GYST can register your domain, build your site, and host it. You will probably only need a 1-pager to begin. Already have a web site, but unhappy with your current host? We can move it to our hosting servers. We can also manage you web site at it’s current host, taking care of admin and updates and security.
Already have web hosting taken care of and now you just need someone to build a site and give you the files? No problem.
Our hosting solutions include monitoring and administration. We fix anything that breaks. If you break it, or if it gets hacked. We take care of updates and security. It’s all included in the hosting fee. No problem.
Cost? We can’t say how much it will cost until we know what you want. How much is a car? As with cars, the price depends on your choices. We will happily discuss that with you to make sure you get what you need, and set delivery timeframes and expectations. Just tell us what you need.
One thing more to consider: All our plans include email mailboxes. These are often a billable extra. Other people nickel and dime you. Not us.
