Niagara Motorcycle Swap Meet 2025

This last weekend I attended a motorbike bike event in Ridgeway at the Crystal Beach arena. I was there at the invitation of the organizers to take photos and hand out business cards. I did both. Three event bookings and a couple of print sales later I returned a reasonably happy man.

It was an overcast day but the crowds still came out. I spoke with vendors and attendees, many of which I knew from previous events. Some vendors came from as far as two hours away. There were a number of regular garage sale type tables, full of odds and ends gathered over the years. There were also a large number of bikes transported there by vendors in trailers for display. This event has been going on for many years and attracts some big players!

The event featured a ‘Show & Shine’ contest for visitors. Owners bring their beloved rides and let them be judged, competing to be deemed best in show. It’s mainly a vanity thing for bragging rights. We did not have the greatest turnout as rain kept making an intermittent appearance. Motorbikes and water are not the best of friends, so most bikers prefer to use their 4-wheel chariots on rainy days. Still, we had a dozen or so bikes come out. Though half left before judging began as the clouds rolled in and the rain started, I still got some great images.

Images From The Show

After getting basic venue and vendor images to showcase the actual event I went to work getting images of the bikes present.

I like to use a specific style when editing vehicle images. I like to get really close up to the bike and focus on details to get maximum sharpness and clarity. It has the advantage of eliminating distracting clutter at busy public events. No people or other things in the background to draw the eye. I also feel this is the best way to show all that beautiful chrome.

From around 300 images taken, I chose 164 that I liked and uploaded them to my photo site in a dedicated gallery I made for the event. These images can be shared directly from this site, and if you instead view them on the photo site they are free to download and distribute with a right click. I ask only that you retain the watermark. Please.

If you want any images without the watermark, as large high resolution images (they do look rather yummy at full size), or gallery quality art prints, get in touch. Commercial licensing is an option for vendors wanting to use these as marketing collateral or brochure materials.

If you like my editing style, I am available for private and commercial bookings. Again, get in touch. Beyond that… enjoy
