Three Lakers

On a cold December day, three Lakers ply their way across Lake Ontario, heading for Hamilton. Heavy wind and waves slow them, but they don’t stop. They never stop. Whatever the weather, however wild the Lake may be, they keep going. Their only rest is when it’s enforced by repairs or wintering. Neither snow nor rain nor… wait. That’s the Postal Service. But the dedication is the same, the commitment admirable. It’s not an easy life.

1/160th, f8.0 at 29mm ISO100. Tamron 17-50. Excellent lens.
Handheld. Converted to black and white to suit the stormy mood.
